meet the founders.

Susi Feltch-Malohifo’ou + Simi Poteki; (Susi is sitting at the table. Simi is in the back with his arms crossed). This was DECADES before they even knew each other and before they realized they were “meant to be”, and had a purpose to carry out, together. This is a beautiful example of “divine intervention & purpose”.

Salt Lake Tribune; September 8th, 2021

Susi Feltch-Malohifo’ou was born in Tonga, and adopted by a White, LDS Family when she was three years old. Susi is in the picture (right) sitting at the table with her adopted Family, before she moved to Vernal, Utah with them.

Simi Poteki was also born in Tonga, but he didn’t come to the United States until he was 23 years old. However, Simi Poteki, is also in the picture (right).

At the time, little did they know, Susi & Simi would be married one day, decades later, starting PIK2AR and K.A.V.A. Talks, a community-led organization with specific programming that focuses on breaking cycles of Generational Trauma, Domestic Violence, Systemic Racism, and more, while assisting the Pacific Islander Community with overcoming barriers to success and self-sufficiency.
